Tools and Brush Gifts
Personal grooming care means having the right tools to do the job that a person looks their best. The brushes that come with some cosmetic items that you can buy aren’t quality material.
Most luxury beauty items don’t even include brushes or applicators because it’s assumed the user will have a professional, upscale, or luxury set already on hand. That’s why getting a gift in this category is something that the recipient will love.
Plus, these items are in the top ten on many holiday wish lists this year. These items make great gift ideas for women, men, teenagers, or anyone who’s a fan of make-up. Having the brushes on hand can allow them to experiment with their style.
One of the hottest items you can buy is the #1 PRO Makeup Brush Set With a Gorgeous Designer Case. When it comes to purchasing brush sets, what you want to look for are specific brushes.
Check them to ensure they contain a lip brush, a foundation brush, an eyeshadow brush, a powder and blush brush combo, and an angled liner brush. You can find these items separately, but you’re better off expense-wise and often quality-wise getting them as a set.
While it can be tempting to think that you can’t find a decent make-up brush set as a gift on a budget, you absolutely can. You can also find many of these make-up brush sets in travel size, and those make great gifts.
If you want to add something extra to the brushes as a gift, add some brush cleaning solution products to the package. Tools for nail care make great gift ideas for men, women, teenagers, and some children.

When I was 14, I bought an old make-up kit from a woman’s house. It had all sorts of little bottles and jars, each with a tiny brush. I wondered what all these odd things did.
Later I learned that the make-up was for applying rouge to the cheeks. It was for sprinkling on the forehead and temples. Make-up was for painting the eyes and for painting eyebrows and lips. Make-up was for mixing colors and for setting colors and painting on shadows.
The first thing you learn when you study make-up is that make-up is many, many, many, many, many things.
The second thing you learn is that, though each thing might be different, they are all pretty much the same.
Third, you learn that, though of course make-up is many, many, many, many, many things, there is an enormous commonality among these things. Each make-up thing, whether it’s an eye pencil, or blush, or a blush brush, or a powder, or a concealer, or a powder brush, or a lip gloss, or a lip gloss brush, or a mascara, or a mascara brush, or a lipstick, or a lipstick brush, or a palette, or a palette brush, or a sponge, or a sponge brush, or a powder puff, or a powder puff brush, or a blush brush, or a lip brush, or an eye brush, or a lip brush, or a lipstick brush, or a palette, or a palette brush, or a sponge, or a sponge brush, or a powder puff

1. Apply foundation with a foundation brush. Your brush should be small, firm, and fluffy. You can use a pencil brush, too, but the foundation will dry on the tip of the brush. Make sure that you work from the center of your face outwards.
2. Use a concealer on your under-eye circles. This will do two
things: First, it will hide your circles, and second, it will add more color to your face.
3. Use a blusher to colorize your cheekbones. You can skip this part if you have a dark complexion, but it will help brighten your face.
4. Use bronzer to colorize your cheekbones. This part is optional – if your skin is naturally dark, it will look too made-up.
5. Use a highlighter on the bridge of your nose and your temples.
6. Use eyeshadow to colorize your eyes. You can use any colors you want, as long as you stick to shades that are similar to your natural eye color. Black, brown, green, and blue eyeshadows are suitable for most brown skin.
7. Use mascara to colorize your eyelashes.
8. Use a lip-liner to colorize your lower lip.
9. Use lip gloss to colorize your lips.
10. Use a powder to set your make-up.
Men with brown skin have more choices than women with brown skin. And they make better choices.
The men with brown skin I know always look best when they wear dark colors. That is, the lighter the brown, the less tan it looks.

“It took me about 15 minutes to apply. I applied it, then I took my make-up off. Then I applied it again. Then I took my make-up off. Then I applied it, and then I took my make-up off. Finally, I saw the results. I was like, ‘Oh my God, it’s amazing.'”
—Janet Jackson, Vanity Fair, March 2006. A hundred years ago, if you wanted to improve your hair, you went to the best barber. A hundred years ago, if you wanted to improve your skin, you went to a cosmetician.
Today, if you want to improve your appearance, you depend on cosmetics.
Cosmetic companies are really engineering companies. Their mission is to make products as nice to use as possible. They are trying to make your pores disappear, and wrinkles disappear, and sunspots disappear. The ultimate result is that your skin looks as smooth and beautiful as possible.
But cosmetic companies are also engineering companies. Its mission is to make products that people want to buy.
Cosmetic companies design their packaging to be attractive. They use lots of colors and interesting shapes. They write copy that stresses the niceness of their products.
The cosmetics companies try to create beauty, but they are really trying to make money.
Because cosmetics are so much cheaper than cosmetic surgery, the companies have a lot of incentive to reach as many people as possible. They have a lot of incentive to sell to people with rich parents or rich friends or rich boyfriends.

One of the hottest and newest items on the market are gel dryers. These are known as curing lamps, and they became famous because of all the excellent gel polishes on the market.
What these dryers do is heat the gel to a certain point. When the gel is heated, it’s considered cured, and the color then lasts longer. By doing it this way, the person can keep the polish on for weeks and have it still look good rather than it just lasting days.
One of these lamps is the SUNUV SUN9C 24W LED UV Nail Dryer Curing Lamp. It’s one of the best ones on the market and high on many lists this year. It can be used for both manicures as well as pedicures.
If you’re looking for stocking stuffers, you want to look for things like nail clippers, cuticle pushers, files, and buffers. Make-up mirrors are a great gift idea in this category, and so are organizer bags and make-up bags for tools.

The Essential Tools Makeup Artists Have… And Get Them On
As a freelance make-up artist, you should buy tools out of your pocket. Make-up artists complain those tools are a waste. Painters and make-up artists are not equally good. You could also want a versatile palette that meets these needs. Make-up wipes are great for removing make-up from your face as you start washing your face and also if you are making errors or accidentally do something. You may wish to sterilize all the components, so there is no cross-contamination.
