Lego Ninjago Stormbringer
If you or your little ones are Lego fans, then you’re going to want to hear what I’m about to tell you. Lego Boost will be releasing the Lego Ninjago Stormbringer in August of 2018. This is a robot dragon that is programmable with Lego’s Boost system. For those of you that aren’t familiar with Lego Boost, this is a robot kit for children.
When Lego Ninjago Stormbringer releases to the public, it will cost $39.99 and it gives all of the needed pieces in order to build your own robotic dragon.
Programming
The robotic dragon can be programmed using the Boost app. Through the app, you can program your dragon to roar, move its head, walk and even shoot bolts from its mouth. Other blocks of code will make it so that the color sensor is able to detect which minifigure you have placed on the dragon. For example, if you were to take the black-robed ninja and place it on top of the dragon, it will cause the dragon to perform a special set of motions. By placing the blue-robed ninja on the dragon, it will perform a different set of motions – this is a feature that I found really interesting.
At first glance, the set might not look like your cup of tea, but it really can be useful at teaching children the basics of coding. You see, as technology continues to increase, the need for coders will also increase and it is a great job to get into – by starting your children out at a young age, you will be able to see if you have a little coder on your hands.
Ages
The Lego Ninjago Stormbringer is designed for children as young as seven years old. The programming will take place through the app.
Responses
If you pet the Ninjago Stormbringer, it will respond. When it detects a voice, it will answer questions and even fire missiles.
Great for Little Coders
If you discover that you have a little coder on your hand, you can keep moving up the chain – there are different toys available like this one that will help teach your children how to code. Simply by showing them this toy right here, you could help them find their dream job at an early age.
Conclusion
So there you have it, the Lego Ninjago Stormbringer – a perfect toy for all of those little coders out there. On an additional note, since it’s from Lego, you can automatically assume it’s going to be great.
